The Syrian capital, Damascus, hosted the opening of NasTex 2026, an international textile exhibition that brought together more than 300 companies from over 20 countries in a major industrial event aimed at highlighting the potential of Syria’s textile sector and strengthening investment and business opportunities in one of the country’s most historic industries.
The exhibition gathered key players across the textile value chain, including manufacturers, fabric and apparel companies, machinery and equipment suppliers, yarn and raw material providers, as well as companies specializing in industrial solutions and digital technologies. This created an integrated platform for industry stakeholders to connect, exchange expertise, and explore future cooperation opportunities.
NasTex 2026 comes at a time of growing efforts to support the development of Syria’s textile industry by attracting investments, modernizing production capabilities, and strengthening connections between local manufacturers and global technologies and expertise.
The exhibition also provided a platform for discussions on the future of the sector, focusing on enhancing the competitiveness of Syrian products, expanding their presence in regional and international markets, and building new partnerships between local and international companies to support more efficient and sustainable production models.
NasTex 2026 highlights the growing role of specialized exhibitions as platforms that go beyond showcasing products, becoming drivers for industrial collaboration and investment attraction by bringing together investors, manufacturers, and technology providers under one roof to help shape a new future for Syria’s textile industry.
Through its involvement in this event, GrowFast Investment & Entrepreneurship Platform continues to support industrial initiatives that connect Arab markets with global expertise and create new opportunities for investment and strategic partnerships across key productive sectors.
