Innovative Projects Lead the Results of the “Future Weaver” Competition at the Closing of NasTex 2026

The moment of honoring the first-place winner of the “Future Weaver” Competition
The “Future Weaver” Competition concluded its activities as part of NasTex 2026, recognizing the winning projects that presented pioneering ideas and solutions aimed at advancing the textile sector. The competition highlighted the role of innovation in developing new models that support industrial growth and respond to evolving market needs.
The competition featured a range of projects covering various areas related to the textile industry. The “Antibacterial Medical Fabrics” project secured first place, followed by “Auto Beam” in second place, while the “Smart Virtual Furniture Exhibition” project ranked third.
The winning projects were honored during the closing ceremony of the exhibition in the presence of Mr. Basel Abdulhanan, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry, and Mr. Fadi Al Muhaimeed, Chairman of GrowFast, in recognition of the submitted projects and their contribution to introducing innovative solutions that support the development of the textile sector.
The competition also recognized outstanding projects across specialized categories, with “Tourgh for Handmade Carpet Weaving” receiving the Heritage Award, “Ariana” receiving the Sustainability Award, and “Grow & Play”receiving the Social Impact Award.
The winning projects in these categories were honored by Mr. Mohammad Hamza, Director General of the Damascus Fairground and International Markets, and Mr. Tayseer Al Muhaimeed, CEO of Al Nassaj Group.
The “Future Weaver” Competition is one of the initiatives accompanying NasTex, designed to support promising projects, connect innovative ideas with growth opportunities in the textile sector, and highlight the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators contributing to the future of the industry.
