NasTex 2026 Concludes with the Announcement of Next Year's Edition and a Continued Focus on Advancing the Textile Industry

GrowFast Investment & Entrepreneurship successfully concluded NasTex 2026, marking the end of four days of exhibitions, business networking, and industry engagement that brought together manufacturers, investors, decision-makers, and local and international delegations. This year's edition focused on strengthening the textile sector, fostering investment opportunities, and expanding cooperation across the industry.

The closing ceremony was attended by Mr. Basel Abdulhanan, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry; Mr. Fadi Al Ahmad Al Muhaimeed, Founder of NasTex and Chairman of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Mohammad Hamza, Director General of the Damascus Fairground and International Markets; Mr. Ibrahim Hawari, CEO of GrowFast Investment & Entrepreneurship; Mr. Mohammad Al Badarneh, CEO of NasTex, along with government representatives, international delegations, sponsors, exhibitors, media partners, and the organizing team.

In his address, the Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry praised the dedication and collaborative efforts of the organizing team and partners throughout the preparation period. He noted that the success of NasTex reflects the importance of specialized exhibitions in supporting industrial development and strengthening the competitiveness of Syria's textile sector.

During the ceremony, Mr. Ibrahim Hawari, CEO of GrowFast, presented the key outcomes of this year's edition, emphasizing that the exhibition was organized with the objective of strengthening confidence in the Syrian market, highlighting investment opportunities, and creating stronger connections between industry stakeholders. He also announced that the next edition of NasTex will be held during the same period next year.

Mr. Mohammad Hamza, Director General of the Damascus Fairground and International Markets, reaffirmed the venue's commitment to continuously improving its facilities and organizational services to support the successful delivery of future specialized exhibitions.

For his part, Mr. Mohammad Al Badarneh, CEO of NasTex, reviewed the exhibition's key achievements, including participation figures, organizational standards, and the efforts made by the organizing team to ensure a successful event.

The closing ceremony also featured the recognition of entrepreneurial projects and the winners of the Future Weaver Competition, honoring innovative ideas and initiatives that contribute to the future development of the textile industry, in addition to several appreciation awards presented by participating organizations and official delegations.

The event concluded with the official announcement that the next edition of NasTex will take place from 18–21 July 2027, reaffirming the exhibition's continued development as a regional platform that brings together industry leaders, investors, and innovation to support the growth of the textile sector.
