On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the city of Aleppo hosted the second edition of the Youth Entrepreneurship Conference under the theme “From Idea to Project.” The event was organized by Growfast Platform and Fajr Academy, with media sponsorship from Seer Platform. Held at the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce, the conference brought together over 100 young men and women from northern Syrian provinces, united by their passion for initiative and exploring opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship.
This conference followed the success of the first edition held in Damascus, offering an interactive space that blended hands-on training with networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and aspiring project owners. The training program spanned eight hours of intensive sessions, covering topics such as project development, business model design, idea validation, and personal strategic planning. Emphasis was placed on providing practical tools tailored to the needs of the Syrian market.
Among the keynote speakers was Syrian businessman Fadi Al-Ahmad, Founder and Chairman of Al-Nassaj Group. Al-Ahmad shared his entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the challenges of launching and growing businesses in complex environments. Drawing from his experience in building an Arab business network that originated in the Chinese market, he offered valuable advice to the audience. He emphasized the importance of seizing educational and professional opportunities offered by platforms like Growfast and addressed Syrian youth with a call to seriousness, collaboration, and continuous skill development as keys to sustainable success. He concluded his speech by urging the participants to remain grounded in core values, stay connected to their homeland, and maintain humility in the pursuit of knowledge and hard work for a promising professional future.
At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed deep appreciation for the focused training experience provided, noting that such initiatives fulfill their needs at the start of their professional journeys and inspire knowledge and idea exchange among like-minded peers.
