First: Audio Editing and Processing – Key Priority

Executing full audio editing for media, advertising, and digital projects.

Cleaning and processing dialogue recordings; removing noise and unwanted sounds.

Addressing recording issues such as background noise, hum, hiss, clicks, and other artifacts.

Adjusting audio levels and normalizing loudness to suit the specific requirements of each platform and project.

Editing and arranging dialogue, and selecting the best recordings and takes.

Applying EQ, compression, de-essing, and other necessary processing.

Synchronizing audio with video and ensuring precise sync accuracy.

Mixing audio for projects to produce a balanced, professional mix.

Designing and implementing sound design that aligns with the visual identity and content.

Adding and processing sound effects and Foley as needed.

Managing music and sound effects, and balancing them with the dialogue.

Preparing final versions for delivery according to required technical specifications.

Secondly: Working within the post-production team

Collaborate directly with the editor, director, and producer to achieve the desired artistic outcome.

Review audio after picture assembly and identify issues or sections requiring attention.

Implement audio notes and revisions within established timelines.

Maintain an organized system for audio files and projects that facilitates editing and archiving.

Prepare audio stems and various versions as needed for delivery, broadcast, subtitling, or dubbing.

Third: Audio Recording During Filming

Ability to record audio during filming when required.

Handling microphones, as well as wireless and boom systems.

Ensuring the quality of recordings intended for use in post-production.

Troubleshooting basic technical audio issues during filming.

Opportunity Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

A university degree or diploma in Sound Engineering, Audio Production, or a related field is preferred.

A minimum of two years of practical experience in audio editing and processing is required.

Hands-on experience in Sound Editing / Audio Post-Production.

A portfolio or samples of previous work are a mandatory requirement for evaluation.

Experience with advertising content, programs, interviews, and digital videos is an asset.

Years of Experience: 2–5 years.

Key skills required:

Proficiency in audio editing and processing software is required; preference is given to:

Adobe Audition

Pro Tools

DaVinci Resolve Fairlight (or similar software is an added advantage).
